How
far is the Grand Canyon from Flagstaff?
The Grand Canyon National Park is 80 miles from Flagstaff.
It will take you about 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive to the south
rim.

you offer shuttle service to the Grand Canyon?

can I arrange for a rental car in Flagstaff?

you arrive.

there a grocery store near the hostel?
There are two large supermarkets a 20 minute walk away and a
liquor/convenience store one block down the street.

How many people are in each dorm room?
Each dorm room can accommodate 4 guests. |

How many people can the hostel accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 50 people in all. |

Do
you offer mixed dorms?
We do offer mixed dorms upon request. Otherwise, the dorm rooms
are male
or female.

Can
I request a particular room or specify a bottom bunk?
Yes, we'll be happy
to consider your request, although due to the configuration of
the rooms and dorm beds, we cannot make any guarantees. Be assured
we will do everything possible to accommodate your request.

Is
the hostel noisy?
It can be at times.
We do allow alcohol in the building and there can be
a "party" atmosphere
on some nights. We do our best to keep quite hours between
11pm and 8 am. We also
offer ear plugs for .25 for those looking to mute any bothersome
noise.

Do
you allow children to stay at the hostel?
Yes we do. Children
8 and under who are sharing a bed with an adult stay FREE. Those
9 and older will pay full price for a dorm bed or $10.00 for
a rollaway bed in a private room.

Do
you have family rooms?
No, we do not specifically
have family rooms, although many families choose
to stay in one dorm
room or split up into two private rooms.

Is
there an age limit to stay at the hostel?
No, we welcome travelers
of all ages. The majority of our guests are between the ages of
18 and 25, but we have had many older and younger guests. For those
under 18 who are traveling without an adult, we will need a written
consent from a parent.

Do I have to be a hosteling member
to stay at the hostel?
No, but we do require a passport or picture ID to check in. |

Should I make a reservation?
We do recommend making a reservation, especially if you are interested

What happens if my plans change?
We require at least a 48 hour cancellation notice. If you do not
cancel your reservation and do not show up on your arrival date, your
credit card will be charged. |

What if I want to stay longer?
We welcome you to stay on longer, but keep in mind that reservations
always take priority. All other beds are sold on a first- come, first-
serve basis. |

We usually limit ones stay to 4 days but we can be flexible here.
Just speak to one of our staff members if you are interested in staying
longer. |

Do you offer weekly rates?
Occasionally we do. The decision is made on a per person basis
and depends on the time of year, availability etc. |

If I decide to leave early do you offer
refunds for unused nights? Generally we do, ask one of our staff
members if this happens. There will be surcharge for credit card refunds. |
